Today has been great. I am thoroughly enjoying today. My family has been awesome and is making sure I am having a wonderful day. My parents called and left a fun voicemail message singing happy birthday and then singing/arguing who loves me more. It’s really cute and I really liked it. I am going to keep it forever!
I have been listening to 80s music, I ate an omelet for brunch, and we are having homemade Cuban sandwiches and french fries for dinner. Then cake and ice cream, followed by presents.
After I finish writing this, I plan to watch Grease and Grease 2. Of course I will sing along happily! It will make today even better!
Today is a day for rest and enjoyment. Tomorrow I will reflect on things, but today is not for that. I have spent too many birthdays alone and in tears. Or with other people, but feeling like I was all alone. I don’t want to walk down that road today. Today is a joyful day to celebrate and feel good!
