It’s not a physical thing, but more a mental thing I try to tell myself daily, but especially when I feel insecure or unsure about myself.
“I am walking my own path in my own time and my own way. I am not in competition with anyone but myself.”
I made myself unhappy for years worrying about what everyone else was doing. I was comparing myself to other people and not enjoying what was going right for me in my life because there was so much going well. Reminding myself daily to not compare or even think about what everyone else is doing keeps me grounded and focused on what I need to be doing.
