Well, I’ve already completed one career plan, which was 20 years in the military. So I guess I am semi-retired now. I feel like there’s more left for me to do and I am still trying to figure out what that looks like. I want to work for myself as a writer, editer, and researcher.
But I also love watching people and figuring them out, which would lead me to do something with sociology-type stuff. But it might be enough to just write books about people. I don’t want to be a social worker. I need to always keep my mental health in mind and not put myself in a position to be overwhelmed again.
So at this point, I don’t really have a plan for career #2 and I’m ok with that. When it’s time for me to do what I am supposed to do, I will know it.
