Zander's Inside Voice

I am most happy when I am relaxed, watching something I really enjoy on tv or listening to music that I love, surrounded by my wife and happy kids. There’s no cleaning to do, or anything pressing I have to be thinking about or planning for.

We do these great movie nights with popcorn, icees, and candy. The kids can drag a beanbag chair, pile of blankets, or whatever to the living room to watch. One person prepares all the snacks however they want, like when it was Girl’s turn, she did it movie theatre style where she gathered everything for you. I did it all self-serve for my night.

We haven’t done this in a long time. As you can imagine, the clean-up is a lot! But it’s really fun. We need to do it again soon.
