I have been struggling to get things started lately. It’s so frustrating. And just like always, I stumbled across something that pointed out how ADHD brains work that made me feel validated. It’s not that I’m just some lazy, procrastinating idiot. I’m not stupid either. But sometimes my brain just fights me so hard when I want to get something done.
From ADHD Alien, this explains everything I need to remember when my brain frustrates me when I know I need to get something done. It’s never intentional. I don’t like this nonsense, all of which happens to me. Sometimes I am more functional than others, but sometimes I can’t get anything done.
