My favorite animal is the squirrel. I just love squirrels and how they sort of fly through the air. I found out a couple years ago that they have the most obnoxious chattering as well. I always thought that noise was birds, but it is actually squirrels! I have spent a lot of time watching them on our back deck and learning a little about their behavior. For awhile I thought that some had big fluffy tails and some had scrawny small tails. But actually, their tails change if they’re scared or whatever. I watched one change its tail right in front of me one day and it was shocking.
Haha, just kidding. I do like squirrels, but my favorite animal of all time is probably the cat. I like all types of cats, but the big cats are especially fascinating. I also really enjoy how house cats sometimes think they are much bigger cats. The cat I had growing up walked around like a puma all the time and she was really small. I think she weighed like 8 pounds. But she definitely was a puma in her head!
I really did spend all that time watching squirrels and learning more about them, but yes, cats are my favorite animal!
