I was raised slightly conservative and I have become more liberal over time. I am not universally liberal on everything; but I feel like we as a country have become unable to handle differences in opinion on anything and you are either conservative or liberal. (Or libertarian and have opinions on everything with no real solutions!) Seemingly personal things have become open for public, political discourse and I think that’s wrong. I think parents should be able to make decisions for their children without political interference and public opinion weighing in. Teachers and administrators focused on education should be the ones determining the future of education, not politicians who have no idea what they’re talking about.
I know I don’t agree with everyone on everything, but I do know that people need to mind their own business, focus on their own home/family, and stop trying to push their beliefs on everyone else.
