Oh, I need to make a choice?
Cats by a slight edge. I do like dogs, but I have distrust for most dogs after being bitten before I even remember. I know I was bitten based on stories I’ve heard, but I also know that I often just freeze up around strange dogs. The only way to prevent the freeze is to just stay away. Girl adores dogs. All dogs. We have to keep her away from strangers’ dogs because she wants to pet all of them. She loves cats too, but she seems to be a tad more interested in dogs.
I like the attitude most cats have. I love when you can win over a cat because it’s lot more work than winning over a dog. Our cats are super expressive and you know when you’ve messed up by their standards. Getting the stare from one of cats means you are in deep shit. The other one is so sweet that she might not purr in your ear for about 30 seconds, but once you say sorry and mean it, she comes back around. She doesn’t like to be mad at her humans!
